Sustainability

MINK MGMT. is teaming up with our clients, artists and partners, together we work to positively influence industry change and manage the aspects of our industry that we can control and make more sustainable.

To calculate our emissions, offset our carbon footprint and work pro actively to take responsibility of our climate impact, we have partnered with GoClimate. In addition, here are some of the steps we have taken in our strive to be more sustainable:

PRODUCTIONS

We use digital and paperless communication for call sheets, estimates & invoicing.

To keep travels down we use video and phone meetings where possible and offer remote shoots.

We book pedal and multi drop off couriers. When car is needed, only electric or hybrid is to be used.

Transport / taxis: We encourage crew to walk, bike or use public transport when possible. We use one pick up and drop off point and have team share cars. We work with companies with electric or hybrid cars.

Production vans and vehicles are hybrid or electric. Motorhomes: with solar hybrid generators where available.

Lighting equipment: we favour LED when possible.

Hotels: we exclusively book eco friendly hotels with a clear sustainability policy.

We provide clearly marked recycle bins on set.

Generators: we use biodiesel where available.

Studios: when shooting in studio we ensure there is a eco friendly set up.

We make every effort to re use or re home items like sets, products, props, production expendables after the shoot.

CATERING

We provide vegetarian or vegan catering. We do not provide catering containing meat.

We make all efforts to provide sustainable, locally sourced and healthy food.

If food is left over it should be given to organisations, people in need or be taken home by the team. Amounts are planed carefully to avoid food waste.

We use reusable plates and cutlery, no plastic or single use. If needed on location shoots we use biodegradable cutlery. We do not use straws. We make every effort to provide coffee, tea, sugar etc in bulk - no individual packets, coffee pods, cups or plastic

TRAVELLING

We keep travels down and use video / phone meetings where possible.

For artists and business trips we chose green options when possible. When flying is necessary, we use preferred airlines and climate compensate flights.

For meetings in other locations we maximise our time and minimise trips, we always combine trips where possible.

When we do meetings in our cities we use only public transport.

We book eco friendly hotels that can provide a clear sustainability policy.

We go by train or other public transport to / from airport.

MINK MGMT. OFFICES

Printing: only when absolutely necessary and then only on recycled paper. Call sheets, estimates and invoicing is done digital and we use electronic programs and signatures.

Couriers: we prioritise booking pedal and multi drop off. When car is needed, only electric or hybrid to be used.

Suppliers / vendors: we work with companies that has a clear sustainability policy and we give priority to independently run businesses, providing they are as sustainable as the alternative.

We recycle all paper, plastic, metall, glass.

Eco friendly products only in offices, kitchens, bathrooms.

There is no use of single use plastic or coffee pods at our offices.
